Every cup tells a story.

Long before tarot decks were printed, people were turning their cups over and reading what the leaves left behind. Tasseomancy is kitchen divination in its truest form, made from what was already on the table, practiced by people who never called themselves psychics.

Join Lexi for a class centered around that old, everyday magic. We will look at tea leaves and coffee grounds through the lens of folk magic and folklore, learn the symbols and where they came from, and then put it into practice with cups of your own.

During our time together you will explore:

🍵 The history of tasseomancy across cultures, from Turkish coffee to Scottish tea leaves

🍵 How to prepare, drink, and turn a cup for reading

🍵 Reading the rim, the walls, and the base, and what each region tells you about time

🍵 Common symbols and shapes, and how to trust your own eye when the book runs out

🍵 How to build tasseomancy into an everyday practice, one morning cup at a time

You will read your own cup, and you will read for someone else, because the fastest way to learn this is to say what you see out loud.

No experience necessary. All materials provided.

The body and soul balm is WONDERFUL. It’s a must for in my nightstand drawer. Feeling overwhelmed or stressed? Rub it in your hands, put your hands in front of your face, take a couple deep breaths. It’s magic. Headache? Rub some of its magical goodness on your temples and sinuses. Chest cold? Rub that stuff on your chest instead of traditional vapor rub. It was the only way I could sleep when I was sick. Broken body or born in the 1900’s? Rub it on the areas that ache before bed and wake up feeling relief

It was a life saver when I was in physical therapy for my SI joint problems!
